I have a Redmi Note 9 Pro which has an IR blaster. Just bought a Veon 4K TV. There are a lot of Veon TVs in New Zealand. Mi Remote app on the phone lists Veon as a TV make but then says "cannot get info" and doesn't go any further.

Re: No Brand Listed For TV Control. @raulrodriguez37, if no brands are displayed when searching try connecting to an alternate network like your phone's hotspot. Alright I use a Vizio remote app, I connect to same wifi as tv and I can control it. Around the end of last year it stopped connecting and I would have to directly connect to the tv on the wifi list. This is a minor inconvenience, however I would just like to use my remote without turning my tv off every 30 minutes because my phone cant connect.

Hi, My Samsung 6300 smart tv used to be able to wirelessly extend my laptop, all until 2 months ago after most recent win 10 update.
